In God We Trust is the clearly visually located Motto in every courthouse in America. The arrogant hanging judge of the people makes everyone stand before him/her before any business is heard. Because that’s the most important part, right, acknowledging the privileged judge? The bailiff swears everyone in with their right hand in the air and the left hand on the Bible. Then the attorneys also swore oaths, drink from the tears of the innocent pleads of the least informed.
The dark comedy is they all work for the people, and that too many clearly look down upon and exploit. Since the start of the court, through this present day, do you honestly believe many of those corrupted-soulless people deserve the lavish lifestyles they tend to live; all while exploiting the poorest or non–legally educated? Where in all the privileged writing does it explicitly state, screw over the disenfranchised and the least fortunate? Where was their faith in God when they’ve allowed countless murderers or, worse, get off without an ounce of accountability? Think about how they’re able to look in any mirror, as if a reflection exists, to end the lives of countless non-protected people?
Is it simply because the one fighting for their freedom or justice didn’t look like them; nor reside within the same zip codes? Where has that blinding 10–12 Sunday-faith went off to? It couldn’t have been present while many “civil servant” police officers have killed, brutalized, robbed, or harassed countless unarmed civilians. Possibly because one of their worst fears in their lives was seeing a kid with a permanent tan; the same tan that many will try to emulate while laying out on vacations. Or is it like Las Vegas, what happens in the Church stays in the Church? Just ask the Roman Catholic Church about harboring unchecked diabolical secrets. I reckon it remains in the pew or confessional with the guilt offering and a few Hail Mary’s.
Studies consistently show significant disparities in sentencing and fines across different racial and ethnic groups in the U.S., even when accounting for similar offenses and comparable criminal histories. Federal Sentencing: According to a 2023 report by the United States Sentencing Commission, Black male defendants received sentences that were, on average, 13.4% longer than those of White males for similar crimes. Hispanic males received sentences 11.2% longer than their White counterparts. The same report indicates that Black males were 23.4% less likely to receive probation compared to White males, and Hispanic males 26.6% less likely. Not to mention that Black males are disproportionately given considerably higher court fines/bail required that many cannot pay; leading to ding, ding, ding, more jail time for minor issues. The most despicable might be the “school to prison pipeline.” Where local teachers aid in ruining many young lives that do not look like them. (USSC.GOV) But hold on, no “Honored” Judge will exploit any biases, right? We can settle that by considering our current and previous presidents.
Those who represent a questionable government and its policies in my belief are perfect bully’s. Normally, in society, bullies are frowned upon; that is, unless you have a title in front of your name. While taking care of certain associates and covering up the darkness of broken family members. They assure themselves of one more alibi and / or one more favor. My conclusion is that the God they pray to and serve (if at all) is the one in the mirror.
