I would rather inform you with the truth, rather than tell you a lie just for you to like me. I don’t want/need anyone in my life to tell me lies of what they think I want to hear just to spare my feelings. This comes from Leaders, Parents, Politicians, Teachers, Friends, Relationships, Society, Governments… Simply put, we do this with the people in our lives because we want them to like us. The reality is this is and has always been selfish. Most of us do not want honest conversations, we want controlled conversations where we get to be right. You can clearly see this in certain groups and a certain gender, or those portraying another gender. Even though not one of us can pay a single bill or purchase a product with our feelings, somehow it has become a valuable currency to exploit others; while getting away from accountability of the mirror.

It’s not selfless, to lie for likes. That’s the whole lie, while so many will work hard believing, “I just don’t want to hurt anyone or their feelings.“ The reality is you simply do not have any courage. You don’t want people to not like you. Therefore, it’s not been about them, it’s been about you and your fragile feelings. So stop lying to yourself, because you simply do not want people to not like you. Life has become one large disappointment of a popularity contest verses who can be a consistently good dependable human.

Too many of society’s so called Friends, Leaders, Politicians, and Governments have gained control via the currency of lies. They lie to get into the positions by reaching gullible people that have trust in positions, or time versus consistency; and or access to money over integrity. No person has a right to complain about a situation they helped create. Okay, you yet again voted for a criminal, lier, assault specialist… the list goes on; yet instead of owning the error in judgement and working to make corrections, people tend to double down while not wanting to admit to the bad decision(s). You can’t legislate morality, it doesn’t work. The laws of the Land should be a reflection of the morals of the land.

How many of us have seen absolutely horrible parents that have no earthly business bringing innocent children into their chaotic lifestyle. They can hardly function with the bare necessities for their own lives; yet get rewarded with the lies of “you’re going to be such a wonderful mother/father…. Or a happy Mother’s Day as if that person was ever. Some people do not have a clue who the actual father might be, but you’ll be great. Then the person who has had 5 jobs in the past year, if at all. How about the person that doesn’t even have a home of their own. One person has killed each plant or patch of grass ever planted. Let’s not forget about the heavy drug user that needs to scratch that itch. How often are ‘loved‘ ones or friends pleading, “you shouldn’t bring a kid into your life at this time“? How often are people standing up for the innocent children? Yet you have certain religious groups, and soulless politicians making laws to ensure the maximizing results of unwanted children; just so a certain group doesn’t continue to drop in numbers. The religious groups, nor government seem to want to help/assist the innocent children already here; hence how damn difficult it is for a child to be adopted. Or the amount of homeless and or malnutrition children.

Teachers lie routinely to fit the mold of the system that’s designed to build up one group of children; while systematically harming another group of kids that do not possess a permanent tan to exceed, despite how many can be or are unqualified. Check the stats people, when given the exact same circumstances the results are night and day different. A non–black youth can receive unlimited “please don’t do it agains“, or “kid being kids“; but a non–white youth will most likely receive a detention followed by suspension and or expulsion for the School–to–Prison Pipeline. Then again, DEI is only bad when it isn’t solely beneficial to the non–black community. I don’t hear many people of a certain group crying about ending Legacy admissions to what’s considered premier colleges and universities.

You liking me is not my first, second, or third priority. However if you do happen to like me great, but that’s not my motivation. Freedom, Truth, Inner-circle, and Love. Filling people with lies is like pouring dirty water into your favorite plants or child and expecting it to grow healthy and shiny. Honesty with good intentions can assist growth and building a solid foundation for what’s to come in life. Why should anyone trust a person, government or a system that refuses to be honest with themselves?

If more people dealt in routine honesty, it would become less frightening to fragile ears and feelings. We can do it together, one conversation at a time.
